Error : the shared data source 'datasource1' for the report server or SharePoint site is not valid

If you are using a reportserver, then perform the following steps:
Be sure you're on a version of IE this will not work correctly in Chrome
Go to your report server
Click on the yellow arrow towards the right of your report name
Click on 'Manage'
Click on 'DataSources'
Make sure the Credentials/data source settings are pointing to the right places.

Right click on source task. 2. click on "Show Advanced editor". -- advanced edit option for source task in ssis 3. Go to "Input and Output Properties" tab. 4. select the output column for which you are getting the error. 5. Its data type will be "String[DT_STR]". 6.
