With the  relative date slicer ,  relative date filter , or  date picker  slicer setting, you can apply time-based selections using a date column. For example, you can show only sales data from within the last 30 days or last calendar month. When you view the report, the relative date period is applied, and the specified range filters the other visuals on the page. The  Date picker  slicer setting (preview) extends this capability by adding a calendar and slider for manual date selection and offering anchor options based on today, the first date, or the last date in your data. Report consumers can quickly filter the report to what they are looking for using the input slicer. If you’ve ever needed to filter a report by a specific order ID, customer name, or product code, the input slicer is designed for exactly that. Instead of selecting items one by one from a dropdown, you can type values directly or use partial text to find matching records. Traditional slicers work well when you have a manageable number of categories to choose from. Subscriptions are a great way for you and your colleagues to stay on top of your reports right from your inbox. We’re excited to announce a highly anticipated update to subscriptions: you can now create a subscription to a view of a Power BI report uniquely relevant to you! Include changes in your subscription When creating a new subscription, you’ll see a new  Include my changes  option if you have made changes to the report (e.g., applied filters or selected a slicer value). By selecting the  Include my changes  option, the view of the report sent to your email will capture any changes you have made to the following: filters, slicers, personalize visuals, cross-filtering or cross-highlighting, drill down or drill up, and spotlight.
