Power BI Desktop - Introduction to Power BI (2-Day Event)

Introduction to MS Power BI. This is a 2-day event. Please plan to attend on the date scheduled, as well as the day after, 9:00AM-4:30PM.

About this event

In this 2-day event, students will learn to load and transform data into the Power BI Desktop application, relate and model data, create calculated columns and measures, create reports with table and chart visuals, create slicers and page level filters, and publish to Power BI Online.

  • Lesson 1: Getting Started with Power BI Desktop
  • Lesson 2: Connect to and Load Data into Power BI Desktop
  • Lesson 3: Transform and Shape Data using Columns
  • Lesson 4: Append, Merge and Group Data
  • Lesson 5: Aggregate Data and Analyze Data
  • Lesson 7: Create Power BI Reports
  • Lesson 8: Format Power BI Reports
  • Lesson 9: Publish Power BI Desktop File
