Union All transformation



The Union All transformation combines data from multiple inputs into one output. This transformation has multiple inputs and only one output. It does not support an error output. The metadata of the columns from multiple inputs must match. Union All is similar to union all set operation as in databases.
Step 1:

Click Windows button and go to SQL Server 2008 R2 and run as a administrator.


It shows a bellow window.



Step 2:
Go to a views and create a new project (Short cut of New Project is Ctrl + Shift + N).


Step 3:
Give a project name (e.g. IS) and click OK button and then shows a bellow window.


Step 4:
To drag and drop the Data Flow Task


Step 5: 
To edit the Data Flow Task then it open a Data Flow


Step 6:
Take a three flate file sources and edit it.



Step 7:
Take a new flate file connection manager and select the where flate file source located.


Step 8:
Drag and drop a union all transformation and edit it.


Step 9:
Give output columns as 0, 1, 2,…..22.


Step 10:
Drag and drop flate file destination and edit it,


Step 11:
Give a new flate file connection manager and browse where flate file destination file located.



Step 12:
Add a data viewer and view results.



Step 13:
Now the package is ready to execute and do the same. Make sure all the items turn GREEN.

Then, we need to follow bellow solution: Step 1: Go to Task Manager–> Details Tab. Step 2: Locate the process “ DtsDebugHost.exe “. Kill this process.
